9/2018 – Elgin Township Social Service Funding
Elgin Township invites and encourages local Social Service Agencies that serve Elgin Township Residents to apply for our upcoming Grant Funding. Social Service Funding applications are currently available on our website at www.elgintownship.com. Applications are due by Friday, October 12, 2018. They may dropped off or mailed to Elgin Township 729 S. McLean Blvd, Elgin, IL 60123. Please include 6 copies of applications. Office hours are 8am to 4pm. Agency Representatives are encouraged to be present for any questions at the November 5th Board Meeting at 3:00 p.m. but it is not mandatory. Grants will be awarded in November and funding available in December. Call 847-741-2045.
NEW in 2018
Elgin Township seeks partnerships with organizations that provide services and programs to benefit the township residents. This application has a program-centered focus. In the application form, agencies must include answers to the following priorities:
- A description of your organization’s mission and how you are pursuing it
- A brief description (150 words or less) of the program or project targeted for funding provided through this award
- Credit for use of Elgin Township funding in marketing and promoting the Township-funded activities and program(s)
- Level (or percentage) of the total program or project budget being provided by the applicant agency
A 6-month follow up progress REPORT will be required.
