Senior Storytime at the Elgin Township Senior Social Café

The first Senior Storytime will be held Monday, August 21st, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

Seniors will meet in the Senior Social Café, and a member of the Committee on Seniors will read an interesting article to the group.

Afterwards, there will be time to discuss the article with the other seniors who attend with provided discussion questions.

There will be an opportunity to socialize afterwards.

The topic for this first session will be “Let’s Be Friends:  Make Lasting Connections That Lift You Up” –an article about the importance of having friends and also about how to find and make friends as adults.

Elgin Township’s Senior Social Café is located in the lower level of the Elgin Township building at 729 S. McLean Blvd.

Please park in the back parking lot.
