Senior Discuss & Discover at the Elgin Township Senior Social Café

The next Senior Discuss & Discover (formerly Senior StoryTime) will be held Monday, November 2oth, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

Seniors will meet in the Senior Social Café, and a member of the Committee on Seniors will read an interesting article to the group.

Afterwards, there will be time to discuss the article with the other seniors who attend with provided discussion questions.

There will be an opportunity to socialize afterwards, and light refreshments will be served.

The topic for this next session:  GRATITUDE

November is when we celebrate Thanksgiving, a day when we pause to formally express our gratitude for the abundance we enjoy every day of our lives.

Join us November 20th as we explore how we can make expressing gratitude a daily habit rather than a yearly celebration.  We’ll also hear about research results that indicate the act of giving thanks can actually help improve our health and increase our happiness.
