Senior Discuss & Discover at the Elgin Township Senior Social Café

The next Senior Discuss & Discover (formerly Senior StoryTime) will be held Monday, December 18th, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

Seniors will meet in the Senior Social Café, and a member of the Committee on Seniors will read an interesting article to the group.  Afterwards, there will be time to discuss the article with the other seniors who attend with provided discussion questions.

There will be an opportunity to socialize afterwards, and light refreshments will be served.

The topic for this next session:  December Holidays

Join fellow seniors us as we explore and discuss some of the many feasts and holidays celebrated in December.

Be prepared to share some of your special family traditions with others as we take a walk down memory lane.  We may even decide to sing a few holiday songs.

Wear your festive holiday attire and bring a joyous spirit to this special holiday session.

Elgin Township’s Senior Social Café is located in the lower level of the Elgin Township building at 729 S. McLean Blvd.  Please park in the back parking lot.
