Trolley Museum Trip is May 19th Senior Discuss & Discover
The May 19th Senior Discuss and Discover is the long-awaited trolley museum trip to the Fox Valley Trolley Museum!
IMPORTANT: Unfortunately, for this excursion, you must be able to go up and down steps on your own due to the natures of the venues and the modes of transportation.
We hope you can join us at the Elgin Township building (729 S. McLean Blvd.) at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, May 19th, for this special Senior Discuss and Discover! And be sure to bring your Elgin Township Senior Access Pass with you!
We will board the bus and leave from the Township building, arriving at the Jon Duerr Forest Preserve. We will then board a trolley, taking it to the Fox Valley Trolley Museum and receiving a “history lesson in motion”. After visiting the trolley museum, we will return to the forest preserve and have sack lunches under the pavilion. We will then board the bus for the return trip back to the Township building, arriving by 1:00 p.m.
